Be Still

Psalm 37:7a "Be still in the presence of the Lord and wait patiently for the Lord to act." God is teaching me about waiting that in my stillness God wants to speak intimately into my life. Lord let me wait on you.

love all your entries so far!! :)

Look forward to following you on your journey.

The Crosswinds site looks AWESOME! :)

Here's an email I wrote Sarah, would love to share it with you too....

Sarah
Thank you so much for including us in your day today. (Also - for having us over the other night - that thank you is in the mail or you already got it). We were so blessed to even just be around you all for a short while. We felt so welcomed and accepted. I loved being in "yall's" presence and just watching you interact. You all very clearly love each other, are at peace in each other's presences, and love people. I will continue to press God as to where He is leading Brandon & I to --- and I'm positive He will make that very apparent to us. For now, I just wanted to let you all know that I will be praying for each of you and your church body. I am excited for you and it's just an incredible thing to see the beginnings of something God-breathed and to be able to watch it grow will be awesome. God alone can get credit for the work He has done through you all so far - with you all moving so far away and stepping out in faith. I have no doubt He is building up His army. We have felt an 'uprising' maybe is what you call it? In this city and it doesn't surprise me at all God lead you all here. Thanks for all you are doing. I look forward to serving alongside you all! I would love when Southside's coffee shop opens in January - and they start having a 9 o clock service there - I would love to go to that one and then go to church with you all as well --- but we'll see what God does. I say that we're all one body anyway - so it's okay to be part of more than one piece!! but that's something I will continue to pray about and let Brandon & God take the lead there. I am so thankful to have met you all. I very clearly discern that you all have great hearts and that you are following the path He is leading you on.

I am sure it will feel like an uphill climb - and that's okay. that's great actually --- everything worth having takes effort and strain and going against the grain. Work is hard, building the kingdom is work. God will be strengthening you all, testing your faith and preparing you. Thanks for listening to Him! for loving Him and each other and for outreaching to others as well already!! :) God bless u all!!! see you in a few weeks back @ the park (if we're welcome, and if you all go there again).
