Who I am to Imitate

1-2Watch what God does, and then you do it, like children who learn proper behavior from their parents. Mostly what God does is love you. Keep company with him and learn a life of love. Observe how Christ loved us. His love was not cautious but extravagant. He didn't love in order to get something from us but to give everything of himself to us. Love like that. 

Ephesians 5:1-2

I love this passage. It is one that speaks to me with great truth. I love the description that God's love for me is not cautious but EXTRAVAGANT. Take some time to meditate on this today and soak in God's EXTRAVAGANT love and then learn to imitate that in your own life.

Blowing my Mind

God is so cool! He is so Faithful! This journey I am own seems like a dream. I never knew faith could be so cool. Every day is an adventure, an opportunity. I just wish more followers of Christ would take steps of faith and experience God in ways they never have. I love being at a place in my journey that if God doesn't come through I am sunk. I love being at a place that all I can do is trust in the one who called me.  

Lord may I never become satisfied with what's normal. 

May I never become comfortable in my relationship with you. 

Break my heart for what Breaks yours. 

Lead me to places I have never been. 

Stretch me in ways you have never stretched me before. 

Help me to grow in ways I never have. 

Lord thank you for the journey you have called me to, although it is hard , I would never change it for a second.

Choices

My Choices show what most valuable to me. Choices revolve around all of life. If we want to eat better we need to make good choices. If we want our relationship with our family to be better we make better choices. If we want to grow in our relationship with Christ we make better choices. 

It ALL begins and ends with Choices!!!
